Trip To Bountiful

,

Bas Bleu Theater in Fort Collins will be producing the play “Trip to Bountiful” opening Feb. 28, 2025. The Theater Gallery will be dedicated to my art work inspired by this play. I read the screenplay by Horton Foote, watched the original and later movie. I liked the Cicely Tyson one the best. I gave a lot of thought to aging, family dynamics and friendships. Memories and places from our past. The small town of Bountiful and the agriculture and farm/ranch life around it and the wide open country of Texas also played a part. I believe we each have our own Bountiful and I used that as my inspiration. My own small towns, family, friends and memories. I’ll be sharing more of this work as it gets closer. I’ll be at the Bas Bleu Theater for first Friday Art Walk in February for a sneak Peek…
