I have two pieces of work in this upcoming exhibit.
First, Yes, I talk to my plants—and yes, I’m convinced they talk to each other.
This tomato family was inspired by my vegetable garden at sunrise, when I imagine them sharing a few words of encouragement before the day begins. Their story found its way onto my canvas, and now you can “Meet the Tomato Family”.
Second, The Rockies are inspiring, if you live here you know it….but I have found the views from the plains have an endearing quality that speaks to that prairie kind of lifestyle. Hard work and farming with the blue sky and fields as your backdrop. This work was inspired by Sugar City, Colorado. A town with a history of sugar beets….. “Sugar City Farm”.
